TASC (Treatment Alternatives for Safe Communities)
Established in Illinois in 1976, TASC has a long history of connecting individuals and families to substance use and mental health treatment to help them build health and well-being in the community. For over 40 years, TASC’s case management and care coordination services have been at the core of our work. We recently launched our substance use and mental health treatment program to complement and expand upon these services.
Across the state, we work with men, women, and youth who are involved in courts, jails, prisons, public health, and child welfare systems, as well as individuals seeking community-based substance use and mental health treatment. Through our treatment, case management, and supportive services, we help individuals overcome substance use disorders, mental health conditions, and justice system involvement and support them in building wellness and stability. TASC also offers consulting, training, and broad-based public policy solutions nationally and internationally.
