The Hellenic Foundation proudly supports the PanHellenic Scholarship Foundation by working together to cultivate future leaders and mutually perpetuate the mission of both foundations. At the 2023 Awards Ceremony and Gala at the Hilton Chicago on June 17, the Hellenic Foundation once again awarded a scholarship to a worthy student of Greek descent.
Hellenic Foundation Board Member Bill J. Vranas and Executive Director Peter Valessares presented the Hellenic Foundation Scholarship to Miss Nina Romac. Nina is a junior at Loyola University Chicago, majoring in nursing. She serves as the Hellenic Cultural Director for Loyola University’s Hellenic Student Association and is an active member of the Orthodox Christian Fellowship organization. Nina also enjoys serving as a camp counselor at Fanari Camp and participating as a camper at Ionian Village.
As of June 17, 2023, the PanHellenic Scholarship Foundation has awarded $4.3 million in scholarships to 645 Greek American undergraduate students.
