The AHEPA Chapter 205 hosts its annual Midwest Hellenic History Tournament, an annual educational competition open to all students, of any background, in grades 8 through 12. Contestants form a three-member team to enter the competition. This single-day event begins with two qualifying rounds, followed by a series of knockout rounds, and culminates in the final match that determines the 1st and 2nd place awards. These two finalists also qualify for the National Hellenic History Tournament held each year at the AHEPA Supreme Convention. With the Hellenic Foundation Grant, the Midwest Hellenic History Tournament offers a 3rd and 4th place award and covers costs associated with their competition.
