ST. IAKOVOS RETREAT CENTER BUS PROGRAM
The St. Iakovos Retreat Center Bus Program Initiative was created to provide a one-time opportunity for parishes outside the Chicagoland area that have never had the opportunity to visit SIRC. Through this initiative, the Hellenic Foundation covers the full cost of bus transportation—up to the equivalent of a round-trip fare—for eligible churches with a minimum of ten participants per trip. This program removes financial barrier that may have prevented parishes, their boards, Philoptochos chapters, senior groups, youth ministries, and other church organizations to experience the spiritual, educational, and community-building opportunities offered by the Retreat Center. With funding available up to $65,000, this initiative extends the mission of the Golden Circle Senior Bus Program and broadens access to St. Iakovos Retreat Center for communities across our Metropolis.
