The Hellenic Foundation has immediate openings for full and part-time In-Home Care Aides to provide care for seniors residing in the Northwest side of Chicago and surrounding Cook County areas. We offer opportunities for those that are limited in English, but are compassionate and caring individuals.

What services do caregivers provide?

• Light housekeeping and basic cleaning.

• Laundry.

• Shopping for essential groceries.

• Meal preparation.

• Medication reminder.

• Observing the senior’s functioning and condition, reporting changes to the supervisor.

• Personal care.

• Escort to doctor or store.

• Companionship.

What we’re looking for?

• Individuals motivated to care for the needs of our seniors.

• Must be authorized to work in the US.

• High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.

• Applicants with vehicles preferred.

• Previous experience as a Caregiver in homes or senior communities is preferred.

Compensation and benefits:

• Pay rate: $16.50/hr

• Health benefits provided for working 30 or more hours.

• Background checks will be required prior to joining our team, as well as basic training that would be provided.

• Flexible hours.
