COMMUNITY CARE PROGRAM
Qualifying senior citizens are able to receive free in-home care through the Illinois Department on Aging’s Community Care Program. This program is funded by the State of Illinois through a waiver of the Federal Medicaid program.
The purpose of providing In-Home Care Aide service is to maintain, strengthen and safeguard the functioning of individuals in their own homes in accordance with the authorized Plan of Care. This means that the In-Home Care Aide service helps our seniors maintain their quality of life by continuing to live in their own homes.
Family Caregivers May Be Compensated

Qualifying senior citizens are able to receive free in-home care through the Illinois Department on Aging’s Community Care Program.
This program also recognizes the importance and value of the family caregiver. The CCP Family Care program allows for a family member or friend caregiver to receive training and compensation to care for their loved one.
The Illinois Department on Aging provides this opportunity to seniors who apply for the program and meet all current eligibility requirements.
Private Pay In-Home Care

The Hellenic Foundation provides private pay in-home senior care for those who do not qualify for the Community Care Program. All of our compassionate In-home Care Aides are specially trained and highly qualified for non-medical, general support of senior citizens in their own homes.

In-Home Care Aides wanted for the North Chicago and surrounding Suburbs in Cook County! Minimum one year experience in senior care is preferred but we are willing to train interested applicants who enjoy working with the elderly.
